InHealth and Expandable Healthcare have joined forces for the first time to design and manufacture the UK’s pioneering all-inclusive, expandable, mobile endoscopy suite.
This self-contained facility features a dedicated reception area, state-of-the-art procedure room, recovery rooms, and a decontamination and water treatment room. Patients will now have access to endoscopy services outside of hospital settings, benefiting from superb facilities equipped with cutting-edge technology, all aimed at ensuring a seamless and positive patient experience.
The 18-meter-long facility incorporates hydraulic capabilities, including a full-length slide-out, enabling the unit to be easily positioned at ground level without requiring a crane. Currently operational at the Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation, this innovative facility marks a significant advancement in accessible healthcare.
